Okay guys, I've had to completely firebomb the ability for guests to post on the forums from now on. I hadn't really meant to have it on in the first place, but that's why we've had topics just vanishing, there's an issue with the guest user ID's causing the system to crash out. I went into the sql tables and manually changed the ID's to bring the pages where guests had posted back, and it's an issue that should be corrected in the next version of the forums due out soon, but easiest way is to just not let guests post. :) In related news, I'm going to be changing the authentication and login package I use here in the next few days to be able to use a 'keep me logged in' option for the site so people don't have to log in every time they visit. I'm just trying to find one I like, or that fits in with the layout of the page. |

That's right, part of the new 40kWarzone is the ability to set up anyone and everyone who wants to contribute as an author! As you can see on the left of your screen, there are a number of article topics and headings. If you want to write articles and contribute, just send me a PM on the forum and I'll enable your account to author articles. Just remember, that if you abuse it, I'll have to take it away from ya and whatnot. I'm pretty sure I can trust you guys though. |

The new 40kWarzone.com website is LIVE! I'm sure you could tell from looking, but the new site is live! What does this mean for you!? Exciting new features are in the works, the forums and galleries are 100% integrated with the site and one login works through all features and in general a new age of spiffyness is coming for 40kWarzone! For now, the first thing you have to do is register for the site (several of you already have) and confirm the registration from the email that arrives. Go ahead and try out the forums, they're a bit different from what we're used to but not too greatly different. And if you have any questions or concerns, let me know and I'll do my best to look at them. Coming soon: Articles section and other spiffyness.
